On March 18th, the Michigan Caravans of the International Order of Alhambra hosted over 700 of God’s special children at the Detroit Shrine Circus in Hazel Park. Sixty-seven (67) Sir Nobels from six of the Michigan Caravans were present, helping unloading and loading the buses, helping clients to their seats and serving hot dogs and water.
Sancho Caravan hosted 210 clients from Comprehensive Services for the Developmentally Disabled (CSDD), Wilde Elementary in Warren, and other friends of the Caravan. The outing was a great success. We will be updating this post with photos later.
The new location in Hazel Park featured the world’s largest tent for seating capacity – the big top holds 2,750 people inside a 150-foot diameter red tent with a 60-foot peak. It stands next to a 45-foot tent. You can read more about the Circus here.
